Jessie McNamara is Debbie Pickney. And maaaaybe they are a little similar. So?
Jessie was born in the woods and raised in Florida, where bare feet were/are fine. She went to college in Nashville, then worked in the music industry before realizing sneaking off to do stand-up after her day job was getting tiresome. So, Jessie ran away to Los Angeles to train at The Groundlings and live in the corner of a living room for the first 6 months. After 8 years, innumerable sketch shows, one-person shows and pilots, she decided to take her favorite character to the next level. ME & MY BUS is the next hybrid reality/scripted sensation that comes at exactly the right time for our country when we all need a little reminder of how unique and absolutely awesome we are as Americans. ME & MY BUS is fun and light-spirited, showing the best of who we are.
Jessie is really excited about what this show can become. And also how cool it is that she is going to be able to combine all her old music-world friendships with her new project.
